Free and Open Source Software for Health System Research

FOSS 4 Health System Research (FOSS4HSR) is an effort of CPU to introduce free and open source software to the health sector. FOSS4HSR will provide a framework for Health System Researchers in implementing Evidence-based research using the OpenHSR. OpenHSR is a collection of free and open source tools for databanking and analysis of clinical and other data used in health system research.

FOSS 4 Health System Research aims to advance the promotion and advocacy for the utilization of Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) among healthcare and allied personnel who are engage in health systems research and related activities within the Philippine General Hospital and other local government hospitals.

FOSS4HSR and OpenHSR is a collaboration of CPU and the Division of Nursing Research and Development of the University of the Philippines-Philippine General Hospital.
